Man stabbed near Junius Street, suspect apprehended

UPDATE (8 p.m.): SAPD officers have apprehended a suspect after a traffic stop at the 3200 block of Houston Harte.

The investigation is ongoing.

 

ORIGINAL STORY:

A man was stabbed on the northwest side of San Angelo at approximately 5 p.m. Friday.

“A male was running through the alleys with an apparent stab wound,” Detective J. Hernandez said. “I’m getting the preliminary here and it will be an ongoing investigation.”

The victim, whose name has not been released, sought help in a house on the 2600 block of Juanita Avenue before being transported to Shannon Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
