Wednesday sports update, 4/27

The Oakland Raiders are house shopping. Owner Mark Davis has a meeting scheduled with a Las Vegas casino owner about a proposal to move his team to a brand new $1.3 billion stadium.

If this happens, the implications would be huge, the NFL has long since had a standing rule against teams having anything to do with Vegas or sports betting.

The Texas Rangers get back on track. Texas routed the New York Yankees 10-1 on the strength of a five run fifth inning. A.J. Griffin gets credit for the win and is now 3-0 to start the season.
