After a cold snap in the area that brought sleet, light snow and cold temperatures, warmer weather is expected this week. The National Weather Service in San Angelo is predicting high temperatures in the 60s for most of the week.
Monday will be sunny with a high near 62 and north to northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming calm. Monday night is expected to be partly cloudy with a low around 46 and southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph, shifting to west to southwest after midnight.
On Tuesday, a high of 68 is expected with a low of 42.
Wednesday almost mirrors Tuesday with a high of 68 and a low expected at 41 degrees.
Slight rain chances move into the area Thursday with a 20 percent chance. It will be cooler Wednesday with a high near 53 and a low of 46.
On Friday, temperatures climb back up to a high of 69 and a low of 50.
