Vino Dipinte Art Gallery announced Monday that it will host its fifth annual Nude Art Show May 7 at 602 Orient St. An opening reception will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the gallery.
The show is a 2-D and 3-D art exhibition that started in 2012 as the only nude art show in West Texas. Local and national artists are invited to submit their works to the show.
An art show featuring local and national artists works for sale will be held on opening night, as well as a live nude art exhibit. Artists from New York City, Georgia, California and Florida are among the participants in the fifth annual event.
Art lovers who are participating in the Art Crawl May 7 are welcome to attend the nude art show. Food trucks will be available outside the gallery for the event, which is free and open to the public. Drinks will be provided to visitors. The opening reception is open to guests who are 18 or older only.
Vino Dipinte is a privately-owned gallery, run by owner and gallery director Alejandro Castanon. The gallery offers fine art and a local paint and wine venue which hosts regular art sessions that are open to the public.
