At least nine people were killed and 60 injured when the San Pablito pyrotechnic market in the municipality of Tultepec in Mexico state, about 25 miles north of Mexico City was sent into a series of explosions Monday.
It is not yet clear what started the explosions according to CNN.
At least 10 ambulances and 50 paramedics were dispatched to the scene from the Red Cross.
The cloud of smoke created by the blasts reached a width of more than a 1,000 square meters.
