Two-vehicle collision at N. Bryant and Humble Rd. slows Monday morning traffic

A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Bryant Boulevard and Humble Road Monday morning slowed traffic in the area. One person was transported from the crash by ambulance to a local hospital.

According to Officer Ed Hunger, San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division, the driver of a Chrysler 200 was northbound on Bryant in what appeared to be the inside lane. The driver of the Suburban was westbound on Humble Road.

The driver of the Suburban stopped at the stop sign on Humble and apparently did not see the Chrysler, Hunger said, and pulled out intending to make a left turn.

The driver of the Suburban was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The passenger of the Suburban was not injured. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured, Hunger said.

A citation will be issued to the driver of the Suburban for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.

Traffic was diverted onto the frontage road while the wreck was being cleared.
