Two cars collide on 19th and Brown streets, one rolls into house

A red Mustang and a tan Cadillac collided at the intersection of 19th and Brown streets, sending the Cadillac into the front of a home on 19th.

San Angelo Police Department Officer John Palmer said the Cadillac was northbound on Brown Street and the Mustang was westbound in the outside lane of 19th Street.

The driver of the Cadillac told police she stopped, looked both ways, came into the roadway and did not see the Mustang. The driver of the Mustang said the Cadillac never stopped.

The driver of the Cadillac was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign and she did not have a driver’s license.

The collision caused damage to a stop sign, street sign and sent the Cadillac into the home on 19th. The driver of the Mustang was transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance.
