Tuesday sports update, March 1

Tuesday’s sports update by Brice Marcum:

Tony Romo’s first day in court didn’t go so well. The judge threw out the first part of his case against the NFL. Romo and his lawyers still have two major parts to argue in the coming days.

No 1. Kansas dismantled the 23rd ranked Texas Longhorns 86-56. Perry Ellis scored 20 points for his
team as the Jayhawks locked up the Big 12 championship. Texas will face Oklahoma State on Friday night to close out the schedule.

The Houston Rockets lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 128-121. Dwight Howard led the way for Houston with 30 points and 13 boards but the Bucks core of young talented players was too much. Jabari Parker
scored 36, reminding people why he was so highly drafted.
