Tuesday sports update, 5/03

The San Antonio Spurs fall in Game 2. Kevin Durant and Russell Westsbrook combined for 57 total points to earn a 98-87 victory, despite a 41-point night from Lemarcus Aldridge. The series is now tied at one game each.

Texas Rangers rookie Nomar Mazara hit a solo homerun in the eighth to give Texas a 2-1 lead over the Toronto Blue Jays. Tony Barnette pitched an inning for the Rangers and gets credit for the win and Shawn Tollefson picked up his ninth save on the season.

Dallas Keuchel’s streak of home wins is over at 17. The Minnesota Twins upended the Houston Astros 6-2.  Houston has not been able to string together two straight wins all season.
