A Donald Trump rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tuesday brought protestors to the streets surrounding the city’s convention center. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, protestors were forced off sidewalks, but were allowed to remain on Tijeras Street.
Protestors began throwing bottles and rocks at police officers on horseback, according to the APD’s Twitter feed.
Early Wednesday morning, the department reported that several of its officers were treated for injuries caused by the rocks that were thrown by protestors. At least one person was arrested in the riot.
