No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 277 and Orient Road Thursday afternoon.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck was entering U.S. 277 from Orient. At the same time, a Kenworth Truck tractor was traveling southbound on U.S. 277, legally passing a vehicle which was also traveling southbound.
The driver of the Dodge failed to yield the right-of-way at the stop intersection and turned northbound into the trailer of the Kenworth.
The driver of the Dodge was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way at the stop intersection and for no insurance.
