Trial date set for 1st Waco biker gang shooting case

The first trial for the Waco Twin Peaks shooting has been set for April 17 in McLennan County.

The 2015 restaurant shootout left nine people dead and ended with more than 150 arrests, according to KCEN.

Presiding over the first trial will be Nineteeth District Court Judge Ralph Strother, though the defendant in that case could be one of a small number of bikers and a name has not been publicly announced.

Judge Strother will alternate with Judge Matt Johnson in presiding over several more cases in the months following the first trial.
