Travis Tritt, who rose to fame in country music in the 1990s, will kick off the “Legends of Country” concert series Jan. 10 at San Angelo’s McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m.
Tritt will be the first of a series of country music legends to perform in San Angelo for “Legends of Country,” presented by Creative Eventz.
His performance will be an acoustic show in a more up-close and personal setting.
The Marietta, Georgia, native, released his debut album, “Country Club” in 1990, which certified platinum. He released such hits as “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s a Great Day to be Alive,” “I’m Gonna Be Somebody,” and “Here’s a Quarter.”
Tritt is a Grammy Award winner and a member of the Grand Old Opry. His latest album, “A Man and His Guitar,” a two disc DVD/CD will drop Nov. 18.
