Former league MVP Derrick Rose lands on a new team. A trade that came out of nowhere, the New York Knicks gave up Robin Lopez and Jose Caldera to land Rose. If that seems like a steal, it’s because it is. Rose is a Top 10 player when healthy.

The Houston Astros are officially over .500, with a big 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Jose Altuve homered in the eighth and Marwin Gonzalez had a triple that drove in the winning run. That makes five wins in a row for Houston.

The Texas Rangers get back in the win column with a 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Cole Hamels picks up his eighth win of the season.
