Thursday sports update, 6/16

George Springer is still carrying the Houston Astros. The team has found new life ever since they moved Springer to the leadoff role. Wednesday night was a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals with Springer hitting a go ahead home run in the eighth. The Astros are now 32-35, but seem to have started turning the corner.

Rougned Odor leads a Texas Rangers comeback. Down 5-0 in the sixth, Rougned Odor hit a two-run blast and then hit the go ahead home run in the 12th after a Rangers rally. Nick Martinez picks up the win for Texas, who are now 42-25 on the season.

Today is the last day of Dallas Cowboys mini-camp, we won’t get to see the team again until training camp starts a month from now.
