A three-vehicle crash on the 2400 block of Sherwood Way between Johnson and Childress streets temporarily diverted westbound traffic on Sherwood Wednesday afternoon.
San Angelo Police Department Officer John Palmer said that a 2010 Subaru Forester hit a maroon Buick Century, knocking the Buick into a white Chevrolet HHR.
The SAPD issued a Nixle alert at approximately 1:30 p.m. asking drivers to avoid the area.
There were no injuries to any of the three drivers or the passenger of the Forester.
The driver of the Forester was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
