Three-vehicle crash on Knickerbocker, one injured

At approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday, a three-vehicle crash near the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and Valleyview Boulevard sent one person to hospital.

Sgt. Matt Baldwin of the San Angelo Police Department said the male driver of the white Dodge Avenger passenger car was driving southbound on Knickerbocker when he ran into the rear of the pearl- colored GMC Acadia, causing the Acadia to roll forward into a maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The two male drivers of the Avenger and pickup were not injured in the crash. The female driver of the Acadia was transported to the hospital by ambulance for minor injuries. There were no passengers, only a driver in all three vehicles.

The driver of the Avenger was cited for failure to control speed.
