Driving under the influence charges could be in store for one man after a three-vehicle crash in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 67S close to the 12-Mile Bridge.
The crash occurred early Friday afternoon and had traffic stopped for a stretch of the highway for approximately an hour.
Two pickup trucks, a Dodge and a Chevrolet, were stopped in the construction area when a Ford pickup truck struck the Chevrolet from behind, driving it into the rear of the Dodge.
The drivers of the Dodge and Chevy were transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
