The Easter Bunny is coming to town

Opportunities to meet and greet and take photos with the Easter Bunny begin Saturday at Sunset Mall.

Visitation and photo opportunities will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at the mall, 4001 Sunset Drive. The visit is free and photos are available for purchase. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays through March 26. The bunny will be located at the east fountain near Mastercuts.

A West Texas Welcome for the bunny will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with animals and reptiles native to West Texas from the San Angelo Nature Center available for a see-and-pet. The event will be held at the east fountain.

Children ages 12 and under can participate in the Sunset Mall Easter Coloring Contest through March 22. The grand prize winner will receive two free 5×7 photographs with the Easter Bunny and a $25 gift card from The Children’s Place. Coloring sheets are available at the mall office, the Bunny Spot (east fountain) or at sunsetmall.com. Deadline for entries is close of business March 22.

A pet night with the Easter Bunny event is planned for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 22. All pets must be on a leash. Photos will be available for purchase.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt and Kids World event for children under 12 will begin at 9:30 a.m. March 26 at the mall. The event will continue until supplies are depleted. The mall’s main entrance doors will be open at 9:30 a.m. for the hunt. Kids World will offer the opportunity for children to make a free craft.

The mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 27.
