The Bosque, located on Irving Street along the Concho River, will be open for Spring Break.
The park will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 14 through March 20.
Crews have been working throughout the week to install a new miniature golf course. Prices range from $5.50 per person to $38 for a 12-game ticket, that can be shared. Also available are paddle boarding, sand volleyball, washer pits, bocce ball and chess. Concessions will also be available.
The Bosque is part of the overall River Improvement Project, funded in part by the half-cent sales taxes and through a Texas Parks & Wildlife Department state grant.
According to a press release from the City of San Angelo’s Public Information Office, the Spring Break opening is described as a “soft-opening.” After Spring Break, The Bosque will be open on weekends and then daily during summer school break.
