TGCSO: Arrest made in county thefts

After executing a search warrant to a home in the 6300 block of Navajo Road, the criminal investigation division of the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joseph D. Rosendaul.

Deputies served the warrant in an attempt to locate and return stolen property lost in recent burglaries and thefts within the county, according to a press release from the sheriff’s department. A search of the property uncovered several thousand dollars in stolen property.

Rosendaul was charged with theft>=$2,500<$30K, he was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Jan. 5.

According to the release, Tom Green County deputies worked with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the San Angelo Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in the search of the residence and recovery of stolen property.

Efforts will be made to return the stolen property to victims of the thefts.

The release states the investigation is ongoing and additional charges/arrests are expected.
