Texas mother dies, daughters injured after falling from Colorado ski lift

A Texas mother died and her two daughters were injured Thursday after they fell 25 feet from a ski lift in Colorado.

According to a press release from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, the family was on vacation at the Ski Granby Ranch in Granby, Colorado.

Their identities were not released, but one daughter was airlifted to a local hospital where she remains in stable condition. The other daughter was driven to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. She has since been released.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
