The Temptations will perform live in San Angelo for the first time ever on Thursday, May 4, at Foster Communications Coliseum, 50 E. 43rd St.
The Grammy Award-winning band will perform classics such as “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “Poppa Was A Rolling Stone,” and “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg”.
Additionally, joining The Temptations horn section will be five musicians from Angelo State University. ASU’s trumpet professor, Dr. John Irish, has helped assemble the group of musicians that will back the legendary Motown group.
The promotion company which brought the Beach Boys to San Angelo, West Texas Concerts, is bringing The Temptations to San Angelo. Jim Bass Cars and Trucks is the platinum sponsor for the event.
Doors for the show will open at 6 p.m. with show time at 7 p.m.
Presale tickets will be available beginning Feb. 25 on stubwire.com. The presale passcode is MOTOWN. They will be available online through March 3. On March 4, tickets will be available at Blair’s Western Wear, 4230 Sherwood Way. General admission prices begin at $29.
