Starting July 12, Starbucks is planning a price increase of possibly 30 cents on select beverages.
According to a statement released by Starbucks, a price adjustment was prematurely entered into their point of sales system in the U.S. operated stores. This resulted in some customers being charged incorrectly of a maximum amount of 30 cents per beverage.
The error has been corrected and Starbucks apologized for the inconvenience and encourages those customers who believes they were affected by these charges to contact Starbucks Customer Service, to correct the incorrect charges.
The premature glitch may have revealed the price increase amount set to begin July 12, for certain beverages. A list of the beverages resulting in the price increase have not been released.
In July 2015, Starbucks had a slight increase in prices and will now conduct another increase beginning next Tuesday on select beverages. This price increase is said to be in the range of 30 cents.
