Shannon Clinic names two new administrators

Keli Ramsey has been named as the new chief operations officer and Dr. Doug Schultz has been named as chief medical officer for Shannon Clinic. Ramsey, formerly of Portland, Oregon, previously served as director of clinical operations for the specialty care division at Vancouver Clinic. Her experience in healthcare spans more than 26 years in business operations and development, revenue cycle and clinical care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on finance from Westminster College and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She will replace Gary Bowen, who recently retired after 26 years with Shannon Clinic.

Schultz holds a bachelor’s degree from Trinity University and received a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his pediatrics residency at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston prior to beginning his career in San Angelo. He has practiced in San Angelo for 35 years and joined Shannon Clinic in 1990. He’s been the medical director at Shannon Clinic since 2002 and has served as the chairman of pediatrics for Shannon Medical Center for the last nine years.

Shannon Clinic has a network of more than 250 providers in 35 medical specialties at 18 locations in the Concho Valley.
