SAPD seeks help from public in drive-by shooting on Canadian Street

San Angelo police were dispatched to a residence at the 3500 block of Canadian Street about 2:40 a.m. Sunday because of the report of a shooting victim.

According to a press release from the San Angelo Police Department, when officers arrived, they discovered an 18-year-old man was shot in the arm. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.  His injuries are non-life threatening.

After interviewing witnesses, officers discovered the victim was attending a party inside the residence when an unknown person/s fired several rounds toward the house.  One of the bullets went through a window and struck the victim.

The incident remains under investigation as no arrests have been made.
