SAPD names suspect in Wednesday night’s shooting; reward offered

San Angelo Police are searching for 32-year-old Pete “Oso” Frank Estrada in connection to a shooting in the unit block of West Avenue O Wednesday evening.

Investigators developed probable cause naming Estrada as the suspect who shot a 31-year-old San Angelo man and stole a red 1991 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck the victim had been operating. The vehicle was located unoccupied in the 1500 block of Preusser Street.

Estrada is wanted for aggravated robbery, a first degree felony. The arrest warrant was issued by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard.

Estrada has black hair and brown eyes, is 5’11”, 235 lbs., and has multiple tattoos on his face, head, neck and body. He is  considered armed and dangerous. Police advise the public to never attempt to apprehend suspects because doing so may be dangerous.

Estrada was listed Friday morning as the Crime Stopper of San Angelo Fugitive of the Week.
