SAPD makes multiple drug busts

The San Angelo Police Department Street Crimes Division made three arrests Friday after a search warrant led to two drug busts.

According to a press release, Maisie Baranowski, 27, and Joshua Green, 25, were arrested after detectives found eight ounces of cocaine, 85 ecstasy pills, two firearms and money at a residence on High Meadow Drive.

Baranowski and Green were charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one and manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group two. Green was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm.

Following the arrests, the press release said detectives developed probable cause and issued a search warrant for a residence on North Magdalen Street.  Eddie Lopez, 29, was arrested after detectives found 30 grams of heroin, seven grams of methamphetamine, large amounts of narcotics packaging and money.

Lopez was charged with two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one.

The Patrol Division, K9 Officer Flores and his police service animal, K9 Duke, assisted with the arrests.
