SAPD investigating shots fired in College Hills area

The San Angelo Police Department is investigating an incident of shots fired at a College Hills area apartment complex early Thursday morning.

The SAPD said in a press release that detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred just after midnight at the Harvard House Apartments, 2465 Harvard Ave.

Police were dispatched at approximately 12:16 a.m. Thursday after receiving numerous calls of shots fired at the complex.  When they arrived, officers found that shots had been fired at a unit at the complex. They made contact with the unit’s occupants and found no one was injured.

The SAPD said this is an ongoing investigation and no other information is available for release at this time.
