The San Angelo Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that injured a 75-year old man. Police were dispatched to the area of West Avenue Q and South Bryant Boulevard at 7:19 a.m. Tuesday for a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. Officers discovered a faded red 1980s model SUV traveling west on Avenue Q as Frederick Alley was crossing the street where it intersects with Gunter Street.

The vehicle struck Alley and continued traveling west to Knickerbocker Road. Alley was transported to Shannon Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
