SAPD investigating Friday night stabbings

At approximately 5:10 p.m. Friday San Angelo Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Juanita Avenue for the report of a stabbing.

Officers arrived and located a 52-year-old man suffering from an apparent stab wound. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white truck prior to officer arrival.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery. His injuries were reportedly non-life threatening.

The suspect was not immediately located.

During follow-up investigation, officers located a possible suspect who was also suffering from an apparent stab wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he too underwent surgery. He was later reported to be in stable condition.

The victims are brothers. No arrests were made at the time of the initial investigation due to ongoing medical treatment.
