The execution of a search warrant by the San Angelo Police Department Thursday led to the arrest of two San Angelo men on drug charges.
A press release from the SAPD said members of the department’s Street Crimes Division, K9 Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations Division executed the search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of West 12th Street.
The warrant, which was issued by Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire, named 54-year-old Samuel Davis to be in possession of crack cocaine.
The release said that during the search, investigators found a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, items consistent with the manufacture of crack cocaine, along with crack cocaine.
Three adults, including Davis, were detained during the search.
Davis and 66-year-old Ricky Don Clark were charged with first degree felony manufacture delivery of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
The SAPD said the investigation is ongoing and no other information is currently available for release.
