SAPD Blotter: Tuesday arrests include public intoxication, forgery of financial instrument

San Angelo Police arrested several individuals Tuesday on charges including public intoxication, warrants and forgery of financial instrument.

Steven Mark Driver, 52, was arrested for public intoxication around 1:30 p.m. after police were dispatched to the Grande Motel, 1117 N. Chadbourne St., for the report of an unwanted subject.

Chloe LaDawn Loaiza, 25, was arrested for assault family violence around 12:30 a.m. after police were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of South Jackson Street for the report of a domestic disturbance. Loaiza resisted officers during the arrest as well as staff at the Tom Green County Jail and was subsequently charged with resist arrest search or transport.

Edmundo Mendez Rodriguez, 28 was arrested for forgery financial instrument around 11:30 a.m. after police were dispatched to Bank of America, 337 W. Twohig Ave., for the report of a forgery in progress. Rodriguez was in possession of methamphetamine at the time of arrest and subsequently charged with possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 <1G.
