SAPD Blotter: Tues arrests include criminal trespass, warrants, fail to identify fugitive from justice

Multiple arrests were made by San Angelo Police officers Tuesday. Charges included criminal trespass, warrants and fail to identify fugitive from justice. Some arrests have been withheld because of ongoing investigations.

Barry Burke Gauwain, 52, and Monica Lisa Brown, 39, were arrested for criminal trespass around 5:40 p.m. after police received information about people trespassing at a condemned structure in the 2900 block of Barton Street.

Gregory Lee Leyva, 32, was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous conviction/suspension without financial responsibility around 9 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 300 block of South Irving Street.

Aaron Dwayne Sullivan, 37, was arrested for violate bond/protective order around 3:15 p.m. after police were dispatched to the 3600 block of Grape Creek Road for the report of a violation of an existing protective order.

Luis Enrique Torres, 26, was arrested for disorderly conduct-fighting around 11:30 p.m. after police were dispatched to Shenanigans, 3250 Sherwood Way, for the report of a fight in progress. Torres reportedly fled the scene prior to police arrival but was located driving at Alexander Street and Sherwood Way.

Jessamy Rae Whittington, 26, was arrested around 11 a.m. after police were dispatched to the Econo Lodge, 415 W. Beauregard Ave., for the report of unwanted subjects. Whittington lied about her identity and resisted arrest. She was subsequently charged with outstanding warrants, fail to identify fugitive from justice and resist arrest search or transport.
