SAPD Blotter: Thurs arrests include attempt to take weapon from officer, DWI, warrants

Officers with the San Angelo Police Department made several arrests Thursday. Charges include driving while intoxicated, attempt to take weapon from an officer, warrants and assault. Some arrests have been withheld because of ongoing investigations.

Jessica Chavez, 27, was arrested for driving while intoxicated around 4 a.m. during a traffic stop in the 2800 block of North Bryant Boulevard.

Tyler William Daigle, 28, was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants, fail to signal turn and unlawful carrying weapon around 3:20 a.m. during a traffic stop at West 37th and Ogden street.

Anita Garza, 24, was arrested for attempt to take weapon from an officer around 6:45 p.m. after police were dispatched to a residence in the 4100 block of San Antonio Street for the report of a missing adult. Garza assaulted the officer and tried to take the officer’s gun out of its holster.

Justin Lee Linthicum, 27, was arrested for no drivers license around 12:20 a.m. during a traffic stop at East 11th and North Chadbourne streets.

Kattlin Long, 20, was arrested for possession of marijuana < 2 oz. around 8:45 p.m. during a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Gunter Street.

James Elbert Malloy, 29, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence around 12:40 p.m. after police were dispatched to the 6100 block of Sherwood Way for the report of a domestic violence assault in progress.

Michelle Martinez, 41, was arrested for theft of property <$2,500 two/more previous convictions around 4:30 p.m. after police were dispatched to the Dollar General on Freeland Avenue for the report of a theft in progress.
