Santa arrested for selling drugs in Florida

A Florida man dressed as Santa Claus was arrested Monday for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and resisting an officer without violence.

After getting numerous complaints of drug activity in a central Jacksonville neighborhood the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded and found Isaac Geiger, 41, dressed in a Santa suit, complete with hat and white beard standing at a drivers side door of a U-Haul rental truck.

According to Jax4News, when Geiger saw the deputies, he attempted to run, but tripped over his Santa pants and fell to the ground. The suspect allegedly resisted arrest by putting his arms under his body.

After deputies were able to get Geiger in handcuffs they located “a large amount of marijuana” which was clearly visible in the cab of the truck, along with a five-gallon bucket containing more marijuana, a yellow substance known to contain THC, Molly, Ecstasy pills, money, a digital scale with residue on it and a box of plastic baggies.

Geiger is being held in the Duval County Jail on a $5,016 bond.
