Approximately $208,700 has been awarded to 16 non-profit organizations in the Concho Valley, courtesy of the San Angelo Health Foundation.
This award money will benefit mental health services, youth development, and civic activities.
Some organizations that received awards include the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council, West Texas Boys Ranch, Children’s Advocacy Center and several others.
West Texas Counseling and Guidance will use the award for staff recruitment and retention program.
The Salvation Army will use finances to purchase new beds, kitchen equipment and washers and dryers.
Girl Scouts of Texas will use their award to renovate the San Angelo Service Center.
