Rodeo clown’s stolen items recovered by Tom Green Sheriff’s Office

PRCA Clown Justin Rumford will have his stolen prized belt buckle and custom-made belt back, thanks to tipsters who contacted the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office. The items were stolen while Rumford was in San Angelo performing at the 84th San Angelo Rodeo. They were stolen from the Foster Communications Coliseum during the first week of the rodeo performances. Officers located the items at a local residence Thursday night.

TGCSO Criminal Investigator Sgt. Corey Speck with assistance from Sgt. Cary Cole followed leads received from the public in locating and recovering the items.

Rumford is performing in Arizona Feb. 21-March 1, after entertaining crowds at the 2016 San Angelo Rodeo.
