Time is running out to register to attend the annual Ports-to-Plains Conference where business and community leaders from Canada to Mexico will gather Sept. 13-15 in San Angelo. Registration deadline is Sept. 9.
The conference is co-hosted by the City of San Angelo and the San Angelo Development Corporation. Registration is required and information and full details are available on the Ports-to-Plains website at portstoplains.com. Cost for the conference is $150.
“This is a great opportunity to learn about the work along the Ports-to-Plains Alliance Corridor, and our efforts to promote investment in the infrastructure that allows our economies to grow,” said Ports-to-Plains President Michael Reeves. “We have a great lineup of speakers, plus an audience from throughout the entire corridor so it will be a phenomenal networking event.”
Among the guest speakers at the conference are Texas Department of Transportation Executive Director James Bass; Director of Economic Growth for the George W. Bush Presidential Center Matthew Rooney; Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center President Dr. Tedd Mitchell; ROI Research on Investment President Steven Jast; and Gulf Coast Strategic Highway Coalition Chairman Judge John Thompson.
