Red flag warning begins at noon Tuesday

Critical fire dangers will exist in the Concho Valley beginning at noon Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo.

With warm temperatures, dry conditions and winds possibly as high as 30 mph possible, a red flag warning has been issued from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Gusts could be as high as 25-35 mph with relative humidity at 15-20 percent, a fire could spread quickly.

Avoid outdoor flames, parking or driving through tall grass and extinguish and dispose of cigarettes properly.
