A new all-time record spring enrollment with a total of 8,052 Spring 2016 students has been posted by Angelo State University. ASU’s graduate student enrollment climbed from 1,108 to 1,314, making this the 13th consecutive long semester were the College of Graduate Students has recorded a new enrollment high.
Additionally, 1,934 students enrolled through the new dual credit program, compared to 107 in the old program. Dual credit classes are being offered to students at 26 high schools in 22 districts in West Texas. Dual credit students will receive both high school and college credits for courses taught on their own campuses.
