Angelo State University’s men’s basketball team lost 77-72 to the Tarleton State Texans in the NCAA South Central Regional finale Tuesday night. Tuesday’s game was the Rams’ second appearance in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. They finished the season at 25-7, the second best record in program history.
ASU’s offense had four players who scored in the double digits, outscoring Tarleton 16-8 in bench points. Tarleton out-rebounded the Rams 43-32.
