Rams baseball team ends series finale with a loss

The Angelo State baseball team fell, 13-7, in its series finale with Cameron Saturday afternoon, according to a press release issued by Angelo State University.

After the loss the Rams now have 18-11 overall and 11-5 in the Lone Star Conference.

With their win, Cameron have 17-10 overall and 6-10 in the LSC.

Paxton DeLaGarza, starting pitcher for ASU, was credited with the loss. He now has 2-2 on the year from the hill. DeLaGarza tossed 1 1/3 innings and gave up six runs on seven hits, the release stated.

The Rams were out hit by the Aggies 18-to-10. After this game Aggie pitcher Blake Welch moved to 2-0.

ASU will play St. Mary’s Tuesday in San Antonio. The first pitch is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
