According to the National Weather Service in San Angelo, there is a 50 percent chance of rain Sunday afternoon with a high of 73 and a low of 48.
Rainfall amounts are expected to average between one quarter and one half inch by the time rain ends Sunday night.
Chances for rain increase Monday night into Tuesday night. Rain chances Monday are between 40-60 percent area-wide with scattered showers, a few thunderstorms and small hail spread across the Big Bend area of Texas.
Tuesday will be cooler because of a cold front and temperatures will drop into the 50s, possibly the 40s with the rainfall.
Rain is not expected to last longer than Tuesday evening.
