Rain chances are in Tuesday’s forecast, accompanied by cooler temperatures. Those chances are expected to decrease by Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in San Angelo is predicting scattered thunderstorms in the Concho Valley through Wednesday morning. A 50 percent of showers exists mainly after 1 p.m. Tuesday increasing to a 60 percent chance Tuesday evening.
Rain fall totals could be one-tenth to one-quarter of an inch in the area with possibly half an inch falling in San Angelo.
The expected high for Tuesday is 68 with a low of 54. Winds will be east to northeast at 5-10 mph.
Moving into Wednesday, rain chances drop to 20 percent with a high of 74 and a low of 53.
Expect dry conditions Thursday and early Friday with chances for showers returning to the Concho Valley Friday evening.
