There’s a chance for rain for the rest of the week in the Concho Valley.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon and into the early evening hours. The National Weather Service in San Angelo says some of these storms could be severe with the main hazards being large hail and damaging winds.
Monday’s high is expected to be 89 with a low of 66 with a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain through the day.
More thunderstorms are possible Tuesday. Tuesday’s rain chances range from 50-60 percent. Tuesday’s high will be 84 with a 50 percent chance of rain. Tuesday night, rain chances increase to 60 percent with a low of 57.
Moving into Wednesday, rain chances will be at 60 percent through the day with an expected high of 72. Chances increase into Wednesday night with a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low of 57.
On Thursday, a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms will hold during the day, decreasing to a 60 percent chance. Thursday’s high is expected to be 75 and the low will be 58.
Chances dwindle headed into Friday, where there’s only a 20 percent chance of rain.
