Pennsylvania man faces sex charges after 12 girls were found in his home

51-year-old Lee Kaplan has been arrested and is facing child sex assault charges after police found 12 girls living in his home in Feasterville,Pennsylvania. 

According to multiple sources, a health and safety complaint for numerous children in the home was made, resulting in the arrest of Kaplan where the Lower Southampton Township Police Department discovered the 12 girls, ranging in age from six months to 18-years-old.

Kaplan admitted to having sex with the 18-year-old, who gave birth a six-month-old and three-year-old she told authorities were fathered by Kaplan.

The girl’s father, Daniel Stoltzfus, told an officer he gave his then 13-year-old daughter to Kaplan after he helped the family out of financial ruin. Stoltzfus said he conducted online research and was under the impression it was legal to give his daughter to Kaplan after he had helped the family financially, court papers stated.

Stoltzfus is charged with conspiracy of statutory sexual assault and children endangerment; his wife, Savilla Stoltzfus, has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and both are being held on a one million dollar bond.

Both Stoltzfus’ told the police the other nine girls in the house were also their children.

No identifying documents were found for any of the girls according the LSPD.

Kaplan remains jailed on $1 million bail and he and the girl’s parents are due in court June 28.

At the time it is unknown if any of the other girls were subject to abuse, the children have been placed in protective custody.

Investigators are still piecing together information and evidence in the incident.
