One Arrested in Permian High Stabbing

On Monday, February 19, a 15-year old student was arrested and charged after stabbing another student with a knife at Permian high school.

The student was charged with the second degree felony of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The incident occurred when the two students met up on campus after school.

The suspect pulled a knife from his jacket and stabbed the victim twice in the arm and once in the left side of his back.

The victim was taken to the hospital and the suspect was taken to Ector County Youth Center.

The names of the two involved will not be released since they are minors.
