Old-fashioned plants topic of Lunch n’ Learn seminar

The People/Plant Connection’s Lunch n’ Learn series kicks off the new year with a seminar, “Old Fashioned Plants: Heirloom Vegetables and Antique Roses,” at noon Friday in the Edd B. Keyes Building, 113 W. Beauregard Ave.

Tom Green County Horticulturist Allison Watkins will lead the class and will answer questions about landscaping challenges as well.

Cost for the class is $5 and proceeds will benefit The People/Plant Connection’s Children’s Adventure Garden at Padron Park.
