Obama orders flags to fly at half-staff in honor of Nancy Reagan

President Barack Obama has issued an order for United States flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.  In a release from the White House, Obama said that out of respect for the former FLOTUS, American flags are to be flown at half-staff at the White House, all public buildings and grounds, on all military posts and naval stations and other installations until sunset of the day Reagan is buried.

Nancy Reagan died Sunday at the age of 94. She will be buried next to her husband, former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
